Calvary Church is a family church, I am a leader but equal with my fellow brethrens. In this church everybody is somebody. We are all equal before the eyes of our almighty God. “Finally brethren it is hard to tell this days what people really believe in. Do you stand for something or do you fall for anything? Knowing who and what you believe. It will be the foundation upon which you stand against every wind of doctrine. Calvary celebration church stands on these foundations truths from the Word of God.
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF OUR FAITH
1. That the bible both Old and New statement is inspired authoritative living word of God.
II Tim :3:16-17,Peter 1:21.
2. We believe that there is one living God Existing in one person; Father Son, and the Holy spirit, They are co-equal and co-eternal 1Corth 8:6,Deut.6:4 Hear o Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.
3. We believe in the diety of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, his miracles, death,resurrection , ascension to heaven and his imminent return Col.1:15.
4. We believe for the salvation of any person regeneration by the Holy spirit though the word of God is very essential. Individuals are regenerated at new birth through repentance
11 Corrinth 5:1-2.
5. We believe that an individual is saved by the grace of God through faith , not by works in any form genuine faith expresses itself in Christian works, James 2:17 and spiritual gift
1 Corth12:8-11.
6. We believe that it is the duty of every believer to be filled with Holy spirit, live a holy life to be ready for Christ return. We believe that every one that is saved should occupy and be busy in his service and winning.
7. We believe of both saved and non-saved.The saved unto eternal life and unsaved unto eternal damnation 1 Thess:4:16-18.
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ in his fellowship and love. Heb.10:25.
9.We believe that each born again should become a member of a local church, fellowship: But a bible church, sinned condemning church.
10. We believe in holiness, Righteousness and Justification Heb.12:14 We believe in water baptism by immersion, but after conversion to Christ, we don't believe in children baptism, we do dedicate children only. Acts.8:38,3-16, John 3:23, John 6:3-4, Act.19:5, (Children Dedication 1 Sam 1:11,2,Luke 2:25)
12. We believe in th partaking of the Lords table Matt.26:26 1Corinth:11:23-30
13. We believe in the dwelling of the holy spirit and baptism of the holy spirit with evidence of speaking in tounges.
14. We believe in devine healing through Jesus christ our healer, His strips we are healed.
15. We believe in tithing and bringing offering to the local church. We also believe in giving arms and caring for the poor, sick homeless and the unfortunate in the society.
16. Purpose of Doctrine are for the protection of the church against heresy and spiritual awakening. These are minimum doctrinal requirements for our faith.
